An investigation that won’t hurt the Clintons. I guess that clears it up.
Why is he even being asked this? I am sure this isn’t on his top five to do list and even if it were, why tip his hand so Obama could pardon her before the fact. This man is taking it from all sides. I’m not going to be one of the me.
He spoke in two capacities; as president elect and his personal opinion.
He will not use his office to interfere in the investigation (to take them off the table), which is as it should be. Law enforcement should be allowed to do their jobs. But his personal opinion is that it would be hurtful for the Clintons and divisive for the country.
I don’t see that he is wrong in either capacity. The dems will squeal like stuck pigs over the continuing investigation because they will get tarred and tarred again by association, plus who knows who else in dem leadership is at risk of exposure.
I think he's just laying some groundwork here. There's nothing personal. It's not about animosity for bill and Hill, it's not about bad feelings from the election. If an investigation turns up indictable offenses it's ALL about justice. Nothing personal.
