I have no early idea what all is on the CA ballot. But if there are local/state
races then they have to proceed to a final tally in those cases.
All the ballots have to be processed because of all the other races on the ballot as well as a record-high number of propositions / initiatives.
No state or locality will admit not counting validly cast votes, absentee, mail-in, or otherwise. Is anyone who knows the details making such a claim anywhere?
NO, that is a myth... they ALWAYS count every ballot, no matter what... if a ballot is cast it is counted, period. That claim that they stop counting once they know the state has been won by a candidate is PURE absolute MYTH and not true...
