Kellyanne Conway Confirms Trump ‘Doesn’t Wish to Pursue’ Hillary Charges
Breitbart ^ | 22 Nov 2016 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 11/22/2016 9:52:12 AM PST by detective

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Trump spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway confirmed the show’s earlier report that the incoming Trump administration will not pursue charges against his general election opponent Hillary Clinton for her use of an unauthorized email server while secretary of state and on any of the alleged wrongdoing involving her and her family’s charitable organization the Clinton Foundation.

According to Conway, Clinton still faces a challenge in rebuilding her own image and suggested this was part of Trump helping the former first lady “heal."

Hillary is Old News. She's Done. Pres-Elect Trump is looking forward.

However, it would be good though, I think, to drive a stake through her heart. She still can do damage from the peanut gallery.

I don’t know how much of what I have heard thus far is “factual” or certain, but...

1) Not going to “Repeal and Replace” Obamacare, just get rid of most of it and fix the rest.

2) Not going to build a wall across the whole boarder...

3) We can’t deport ALL the illegal aliens, especially the ones that have already been processed.

4) Mitt Romney being seriously considered for Secretary of State? (I do think that is a headfake, it better be)

5) Not going to press for prosecution of the Clintons?

If he is trying to “heal”, he is in for a long recovery. There will be no healing for the next 4 years as long as the liberals and media keep up the demagoguery. I hope Trump is thick skinned enough to accept being hated and make good on his promises. I hope we are not seeing the earliest signs of his broken promises, waffling and compromising. I hope he is just being keen until the dust settles leading up to his inauguration (which I doubt it ever will). I expect him to keep his campaign promises immediately after he is sworn in.

If this means what I think it means I want my money back that I contributed to his campaign. I will wait for further clarification before I send him a formal letter.

Interesting analysis.

I think that a Presidential Pardon would effectively end her political career. She might rather roll the dice.

He doesn’t need to pursue it, it is already being pursued.

Right, and when I heard the audio of Conway's statement I noticed she put very strong emphasis on the word, "he."

Meaning, I believe, what you said.

Trump himself may not direct the appointment of a special prosecutor. But that doesn't mean Congress will drop the matter. Nor will a potential new FBI director who might choose to view the abundant evidence differently than Comey.

I think he know she is not well. He has the inside now, I am pretty sure it’s due to health or mind or both

She doesn’t need to heal.
she needs to decompose.

Hard to imagine any kind of political career for her, whether pardoned or not.

Agreed and Trump has so many issues that need to be dealt with facing all of us such as jobs, economy, immigration. I would rather he tackle these things.

She dug herself a hole when she lost. She is finished, politically speaking.

Exactly. He doesn’t need to do anything for awhile - there’s an investigation going on. I think he’s saying this so Obama doesn’t pardon her.

I felt charges need to be pursued, too. But, maybe this is part and parcel of a Trump “art of the deal”. Maybe the deal is the Clinton Foundation dies a slow death, receives no further donations, uses the cash in hand for charitable causes only (not financing Hillary’s expenditures and slush fund) and Hillary, in turn, exposes the pedophilia ring in Washington, D.C. or other criminal activities, and Chelsea gives up her political aspirations, Huma is either convicted or deported, etc. The Clintons should not be let off lightly.

I don’t care if Hillary Clinton is “done”. I don’t care if she or the nation needs “time to heal”, whatever the hell that means.

If I committed 1/100th of the crimes that Hillary has I would be in prison no matter how done I was or much I needed to heal, and that’s true of any non-elite citizen.

Americans voted en masse for the restoration of the rule-of-law in this country, and we are going to have to insist upon it.

It’s up to congress. Trump is wise to do all he can just to get the name CLINTON out of the news for now.

“If an administration concludes that they will not press charges in a particular case, then the FBI will stop investigating those charges.
That’s what happened in July. Comey declared that there would be no charges pressed in the Hillary email server case, and the FBI stopped investigating. Judge Napolitano claims from his sources that the FBI field agents were asking to see Hillary’s medical records and that is why he announced there would be no charges, in order to stop the investigation.
It was only when the NYPD came across Weiner’s laptop that Comey agreed the FBI agents could start investigating again, but limited to that item.
If Trump announces there will be no charges against Clinton on the email server or the foundation, which it appears to be what his spokesmen is saying, then there will be no FBI investigations into those matters.”

The Trump administration is not even in office. They did not conclude anything.

A Trump aide made a generic statement in an answer on a talk show. She said nothing about shutting down the current on going investigations. It is not the same as the Director of the FBI specifically stating that there would be no charges filed.

In my opinion, Kellyanne Conway should not be talking about this.

She should NEVER be given a free pass as Trump has offered. Why do we have laws if she skates free and someone else commits a lesser crime and goes to prison? We DO NOT and SHOULD NOT have a double standard. I am really disappointed that Trump has taken such a position. I could care less if Hitlary were on her death bed (which she is not), she needs to be prosecuted for her “Pay to Play” scheme. If she is not, all others who decided it is “OK” should then be allowed to also skate free. Definitely a double standard and A VERY BAD presidence is being set.
