Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach met with Donald Trump on Sunday in New Jersey. A mainstream media photographer caught the moment.
Kobach is an expert on border security and legal immigration.
The photographer also caught a piece of paper outlining a potential Trump immigration reform agenda.
Reporters zoomed in on the paper and this is what they saw.
The Kobach notes include a 1,989 Trump wall in addition to the 386 miles of existing wall.
FANTASTIC!
“According to Google Maps, riding a bicycle (most proximate route along the border) from Brownsville to San Diego is 1,566 miles. The route of course bypasses Big Bend at the Rio Grande and the southern border of Arizona. Add those in and I’m betting it’s around 1,989 miles. So yes, a 1,989 mile long wall will include the Texas border. Here’s the route:
San Diego to Brownsville”
That cute! It walls out entire towns. Never going to happen!
Also I believe he is talking about what is remaining after what was built from the original Patriot Act before the "border fence" was shut down. Remember the "border fence" that our beloved Kay Bailey Hutchinson stopped the work on before she left the Senate (biotch).
At this point I am ready for anything on the border, military, deputized Citizens (yea), etc. Just secure the damn border, NOW.
Presidents have been seen and photographed carrying particular books to and from Marine One to deliberately send a message. I think both GWB and Obama did that, as I recall. So this is nothing new.
the Chinese could build a longer wall in a time with no motored vehicles or tools, we can certainly accomplish this project.””
The media and opponents think the past-35 generation doesn’t know the history of the Great Wall or the Iron Curtain. The media has simply fanned the lie that a wall can’t be built to stop the advance of criminals across the border.
Col. Douglas Mortimer. Great flick!
Set up.....Look how many stories they're going to get out of everything we know already.
Yes, the border is 1900 miles. I don’t think there is any intent to wall off the river, I believe the intent has always been a wall or triple fence from El Paso to San Diego. The press has occasionally complained about the impossibility of a fence along the river, but they were just trolling. I don’t think there has ever been any intent to fence off the river.
Some of it has already been fenced and the river is indeed proposed for fencing. It’ll happen.
I’ve been denying that all along; but you may be right.
When I envision a “wall” or a border fence, I envision a triple fence which you can easily build from Paso to San Diego.
I have a hard time believing they will wall off access to the river from the US side. Maybe there will be a single strand down the middle of the river? Is that what you mean?
It does not have to be on the boundary.
The present portion is offset substantially from the river itself. There are numerous sites showing what it looks like.
They might have to spike it as it looks like the 18 foot wall is still being scaled.
Owners have keys to opening to access the river side of the fence.
You must be thinking of another thread, 'cause you sure didn't do it here.
Sorry but I can’t help you with your observation abilities.
IMO, that wasn’t sloppiness. That was intentional.
There’s a mention of the Patriot Act with regard to illegal aliens on that document. Does anybody have any insight as to what that’s about? It’s also curious after that...a mention of preventing lawsuits..
Dusty...I checked your "In Forum" page for your posting history.
It was a different thread where you gave the reasons why, not on this one: Americans who live near border say Trump's wall is unwelcome.
My observation abilities (and page search capabilities) remain sharp.
On purpose.
Hey, thanks for that link-—amazingly, I didn’t know it had been spelled out so bluntly—it all makes sense and is entirely logical. Is that from an easily accessible Trump website? I’d like to bookmark it. Thanks again
