Green Day took the stage Sunday evening at the American Music Awards and broke into an anti-Trump chant during their performance in Los Angeles.
In the middle of their hit song "Band Bang," jumped into "Born To Die 2016" by punk band MDC. Lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong led a chant with the words, "No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA."
The song has recently been popularized by students across the U.S.

Ooo, look. “Artists” being all edgy by dissing Republicans.
How original!
I’ve never liked them.
Diranged!
Another day, another brain dead rant from an entertainment community fool.
Mean Gay
Just another leftist musical group that thinks they have ANY talent..I am so sick of these “Entertainers” shoving their leftist propaganda into our faces..here’s an idea rich white celebrity dorks..be good monkeys and PERFORM..no one is asking you to open your trap

Wow...did not know that..thanks.
More elitists and out-of-touch moonbeam chasers badmouthing the People’s Choice.
Do you notice how none of these whiner groups is ever plain working-class Americans?
How is The Donald ever in any way associated with the KKK? Don’t they get that maybe half their customers voted for Trump? Stupid people.
Haven’t listened to green day since “American Idiot.” I think Armstrong sounds like his sinuses are clogged with last night’s coke.
Whenever I see that.....burning cross on pics I think of that South Park episode....not a cross...a lower case t.
As a classically-trained musician who (openly) likes pop, I try to be objective:
I think they are above average, but just so; I never thought they were extraordinary, even assuming one likes that genre (which I mostly do not).
I think their flaming leftism garners them more acclaim from communist critics than they deserve.
