LIMA, Peru (AP) — President Barack Obama said Sunday he doesn't intend to become his successor's constant critic — but reserved the right to speak out if President-elect Donald Trump or his policies breach certain "values or ideals."
Offering a rare glimpse into his thoughts on his post-presidency, Obama suggested once he was out of office he would uphold the tradition of ex-presidents stepping aside quietly to allow their successors space to govern.

most importantly, he’s literally destroyed his party politically...just think of the night in 2008 to where the dems are now. really astonishing. Yet, he’s such a arrogant punk, he was actually complaining that each state gets 2 senators despite population differences!....weird. He always reminded me, how he acted in office, like some idiot that won a kind of game show where “YOU CAN BE PRESIDENT”...he wears his lil bomber jacket that says “commander in chief”..it was all so embarrassing....thank god its almost over. I used to love politics..he ruined for me. Let alone the damage he did.
not to mention, Trumps win is the most amazing in political history, and Obama is tied to it whether they like it or not, which makes it all the more delicious. Any documentaries or plans that lefty historians had planned ARE basically ruined now...LMAO..by Donald Trump of all people!!! All Trump has to do is repeal Obama care...zap his lil executive orders..and build a border wall, and that will do it. Obamas “memoir” is ruined now...ahahahahha....all the books the leftys had planned are ruined now .....his legacy will be dead police officers, which is not funny. I remembered that he has severely damaged the Democrat Party 10 seconds after I posted that comment. For that alone, he deserves a Presidential Freedom medal, IMHO.
