I don’t know if he’s losing his sanity or not, but I’d be leery of offering him any position if he declined the first time.
I wonder if he took a look at Christie vetting crew and just had second thoughts on being involved when he saw it was made up of paid lobbyists. I believe he refused the job when talking to Christie.
