I think it was Dean Martin
That was Dean Martin.
Dean Martin, NOT Perry Como!

I thought tonight’s show was a little up-tempo. Most relaxed I’ve ever seen him.
"That's Amore" is a 1953 song by composer Harry Warren[1] and lyricist Jack Brooks.[1] It became a major hit and signature song for Dean Martin in 1953. Amore (pronounced [aˈmoːre]) means "love" in Italian.I remember seeing that movie when it was first shown in the theater. The song was very popular. I remember hearing it played on radio a lot back then. The song first appeared in the soundtrack of the Martin and Lewis comedy film The Caddy, released by Paramount Pictures on August 10, 1953. In the film, the song is performed mainly by Dean Martin, with Jerry Lewis joining in and then followed by the other characters in the scene. It received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Song of that year, but it lost to "Secret Love" from Calamity Jane starring Doris Day.[1]
IT was Dean Martin — not Perry Como.
I guess the folks who corrected you haven't picked up on the idea that more than one singer can sing the same song! LOL I guess that you expect that on forums, based on your screen name.
My mother had few luxuries. She talked dad into a "HiFi"; i.e., high fidelity record player, which was in a large cabinet which stood on legs. One of her favorite artists was Perry Como and she had several of his records. Thus, I, too remember Perry Como singing that song.
It was sad at the end of his career when he performed Christmas concerts in Ireland and clearly had trouble remembering the lyrics. They played several of the concerts on PBS.
