Election Day provided the most definitive proof of both the media's bias against Trump and the people's repudiation of its attempts to influence the election narrative.
Heading into the day of the vote, most news outlets were confident that Clinton would become the 45th president of the United States, as they pointed to poll after poll showing the former secretary of state comfortably leading Trump. This coverage seemed to impact voters' sentiment regarding whom they expected to win the presidency. In the final installment of our daily IBD/TIPP Presidential Election Tracking Poll, released on the day of the election, nearly half of likely voters (46%) felt that Clinton would win the presidency, while only 24% reported that Trump would likely become president.
Yet the media's negative coverage could not stifle Trump's supporters. As predicted in our final poll, which showed the Republican nominee with a 1.6-point lead over his rival, Trump stunned the media establishment and easily won the presidency.

The media has been extremely biased for nearly as long as I can recall. The first time it became obvious to me was when they supported Castro to such an extent that I, a 9 year old kid, wanted to go to Cuba and fight Batista.
I was shocked when he began executing his opponents and made it clear what he really was.
I do believe they went to the most extreme during this last election. Often did not even try to hide their bias.

Before the results started coming in, the panel at PBS all emphasized how important it was that both sides accept the results, and that they be gracious to each other afterwards. By the end of the night, that had gone out the window. The country had chosen the path of racism, mysogyny, xenophobia etc.
I was watching Fox and as soon as Florida turned I told my brother if North Carolina turns I am going to bed but, then it looked like Penn, Iowa and Wisconsin would go.
I don’t fully understand why they held up calling AZ and Michigan and NH as well but, I knew we had a lock on 306.
I had many friends in West Hollywood set to party the next evening to celebrate...Hillary.
Toward 11PM California time I realized I hadn’t heard from any of them so, I texted one saying “I think there is something wrong with my phone. It is strangely silent”.
I didn’t hear anything until the next afternoon, when my friend responded “texting you back”.
My reply:
“I figured out what happened. I forgot to push the Trump button”
My husband told me that at his professional school there were jars to deposit money in to support Castro during that time. In his school!
Next time the polls will still be rigged against our side. We will hear 100 different versions of “this time is nothing like last time”.

The MSM’s liberal bias is manifested by lies, spin, and story selection. I think the last is the most important. It a story advances the left’s agenda, it is pushed. If a story advances the conservative agenda, it never happened.
