Pence: 'I wasn't offended' by message of 'Hamilton' cast
CNN ^ | November 20, 2016 | Eric Bradner

Vice President-elect Mike Pence said the boos he faced at the Broadway production of "Hamilton" were "what freedom sounds like."

Pence also didn't criticize the show's cast for addressing him from the stage after the play's end Friday night, saying he wasn't offended and understood their message.

"I did hear what was said from the stage. I can tell you I wasn't offended by what was said. I will leave to others whether that was the appropriate venue to say it," he said on "Fox News Sunday."

Offended implies hurt feelings. Nothing these clowns say hurts my feelings one little bit.

I agree wholeheartedly. VP-Elect Pence showed great restraint and character in the face of this outlandish and crass showboating by the “performer” of the play.

President-Elect Trump shone a light on the Liberal cockroaches who have publicly slandered and pontificated without seeming consequence in the media for far too long. To let them continue to not be held accountable for the misdeeds will only serve to embolden them.

Yes, that’s true, but it’s what they were like in those days.

He might not have been offended, but lecturing somebody in the audience is improper.

Paying big money to watch some bald headed retard read from a 3x5 would have pissed me off.

I wish Pence had been a little less “aw, shucks, that’s ok” in his response.

He could have been gracious as well as acknowledge that it was entirely offensive.

Something like, “Well, I hold nothing against them, all is forgiven, but I did feel a little bullied by the whole thing.” Use their own terminology on them.

Bush was the Left’s scapegoat and he excelled at the job, perhaps unwittingly. He just didn’t fight back. On the other hand these twitter fights could get very dangerous as it is easy to get baited.

It’s amazing that a show about a white man was precluded from having any whites in the cast. That’s discrimination and whites need to have enough courage to at least admit it to themselves.

Having the Government Grant, the racist play should be prosecutes with the Trump DOJ. A refund for any funds, penalties, and a Tony. Let the racist pay with their only funding.

The play is about someone who was shot and killed by a sitting Vice President.

Maybe Pence was there to get ideas about whom he should shoot when he becomes Vice President.

“I will leave to others whether that was the appropriate venue to say it,”

Exactly. So many entertainers and others today have terrible manners and horrible public decorum (no sense of appropriate boundaries in speech and behavior).
