The New York Times is in trouble, and they know it. The paper has lost all credibility, and even long-time readers comfortable with its editorial bias have been sickened by the all-out trashing of Donald Trump over the past several months.

When the publisher of the worlds most arrogant and all-knowing newspaper puts out a mea culpa promising to rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism you can be pretty sure that something is awry. To pledge to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor suggests they have been doing otherwise, and that is a fact.
That said, nothing seems to have changed at the Times. The reporting still is admiring of all-things Obama and derisive of all things Trump, to a laughable degree.
A case in point: an article in the Sunday Styles section l

I would *totally* rock that dress, myself.
I always thought it looked more like The Gates Of Hell than a Black Widow.
You can even see the hordes of tiny, tortured, screaming souls at the bottom.
Or, you could make a skirt.
:)
Warning: If you *ever* see anything that looks like that come out of your dog’s butt, get to a vet, immediately.
Hopefully, this is a fake. Otherwise, Mrs. Obama looks more like “First Ho” instead of “First Lady”.
Nah-I’ll keep it as a tablecloth-even out here in rural, redneck BFE I’d be an object of ridicule getting out of my 4x4 wearing an item of clothing that looked like that...
Lol!
Remember when code pink was vomiting all over the place?
Made me so mad I couldn’t wear pink for years.
I used to love rainbows because of the bible. For a long time, I never knew what their other meaning was.
One thing I really hate about the left is how they steal good things and make them evil.
Now that is a scary visual-I will never wear pink again...
She looks like Montezuma!
What a horrible dress.
And of course that’s why she was a world-famous model. It’s not an easy career in a lot of ways. Beautiful woman.
I don’ t think Michelle was overpaying. From what I have read, she has paid little or nothing for most of her First Lady wardrobe. In fact, the Obamas are simply not wealthy enough to pay retail for couture clothing.
There has been much speculation about the arrangements made with fashion designers to obtain clothing for Michelle.
But simple is right— she looks best in tailored items with simple lines. Some patterns can also be slenderizing— it all depends.
The woman looks absolutely stunning in clothing that simple.
If I was wearing that I would be just another ugly woman in rags.
Didn’t the Times just say they were going to start telling the truth?
try walking down the street looking like that..you can probably get that similar look for fairly cheap..but I can tell you that the coat would be falling off me and I could never walk far in those heels..and then one would probably get stuck somewhere
But Michelle was ‘elegant’ with her upper arms. Is this really the best the keepers of the culture have to criticize the new administration. i know sasquatches arms got me hot.
Melania’s mother worked as a seamstress/designer in a factory that made children’ s clothing in communist Yugoslavia.
Apparently, Melania is skilled at drawing and sketched clothing designs as a teenager. Her mother made a lot of her clothing when she was a teenager.
Having a sower for a mother myself, it doesn’t surprise me that she seems to appreciate that fabrics, fit, and cut are the keys to looking good.
Of course, having a model’s face and figure also helps.
With Melania, it’s the whole package. It’s the way she carries herself, the way she expresses herself, and of course her beauty. You are right, she could wear a flour sack and outclass Hillary and Michelle.
Does this person realize how out of touch with the American people it sounds to ridicule her for buying clothes off the rack?
