The New York Times is in trouble, and they know it. The paper has lost all credibility, and even long-time readers comfortable with its editorial bias have been sickened by the all-out trashing of Donald Trump over the past several months.

When the publisher of the worlds most arrogant and all-knowing newspaper puts out a mea culpa promising to rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism you can be pretty sure that something is awry. To pledge to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor suggests they have been doing otherwise, and that is a fact.
That said, nothing seems to have changed at the Times. The reporting still is admiring of all-things Obama and derisive of all things Trump, to a laughable degree.
A case in point: an article in the Sunday Styles section l

Ivanka should think about doing a few knock offs of Melania’s looks. I don’t know if that would hurt her brand or not...but I think there are people that might like to have that red coat.
I can’t even wear heels anymore.
My feet are wrecked.
The designer, in some circles of the fashion industry, is simply known as Piñata.
I used to say I could picture Mrs. Trump using a sewing machine.
I bet she did when she was younger.
Those troops....trying not to laugh. Even Barky looks a little embarrassed.
They remind me of the Roman soldier in “Life of Brian” turning red, face all tense, and clenching his jaw, after his Centurion told him his name was “Biggus Dikus”.
“What....You think that’s funny?”
I’ve heard/read that some designers offer to design clothes for the 1st ladies just to get their stuff seen-but in return, the 1st lady actually does not get to keep the clothes-there was a big fuss over that when Nancy Reagan was 1st lady and wore all those beautiful designer outfits.
Where's the one where his "package" is showing?
At least one of the designers who dressed Michele went out of business. Can’t remember the name
Maybe, I don’t know. I worked in upper management in the business world, so I just wore suits, some pants, mostly skirts, only because I had to. I’m more comfortable in blue jeans. Shopping for work clothes for me was a necessity, not a pleasure. Same thing for business/social gatherings. But that’s just me.
A "Boob Belt" is a wardrobe accessory that is part of Queen Moochie's unique signature fashion style.
To some they look like ammunition belts.
Others think of them as Klingon Death Belts.
Little Pinch is throwing a temper tantrum.
Hehehe.

Cant remember the name. Was it Omar?
I just don’t know how much more of this the Trump family should have to endure...the meanness and sh#tty treatment of them is just unbelievable Who do these people think they are!! This is our next first lady not to mention she’ll be a delight to dress because she’s absolutely lovely and she is a former model so anything she puts on will look remarkable... but again they fail to realize that. Quite frankly she doesn’t need their help. She knows how to dress, she has enough money to buy whatever she wants and she will look fabulous in anything she puts on. Damn them all... I’m so sick and tired of this. These are good people with good hearts and the Pences are now being treated terribly, too... when they go out to see a Broadway show and relax they are harassed. It is complete BS and I’m sick of it. I can’t stand these people
Silly article and Liz is working awfully hard to be aggreived.
The NYT article wasn’t critical or laudatory of anyone’s style, simply pointing out that thet ways the Trumps interact with the high-fasion industry are and will be different than what we’re used to.
In fact, it gave props to Melania for not being a slave to designers.
While MOOCH has worn designer goods since becoming first lady, Melania Trump has been wearing them for literally decades. Melania Trump’s level of luxury is something MOOCH not only can’t replicate outside the White House (or at least probably couldn’t before entering it); it’s also not relatable for many American women, just as fashion magazines filled with designer clothes are.
Both women are the same height. One looks like a chunky badly dressed woman, Melania is always dressed to the nine’s like the lady she is.
These complaints are ludicrous, obviously biased, and made in their own self interest. I’ve got to stop reading liberal babble because it all just makes me angry. Trump and Pence and their families have taken on a pack of wolves on our behalf. Besides prayer, I wish I knew how else to support them.
