If Jeff Sessions is confirmed as attorney general, it will mean likely sweeping changes for the Justice Department, especially on civil rights policies.
It also could mean even more investigation of Hillary Clintons email practices and her familys charitable foundation.
Sessions, a Republican senator from Alabama who previously served as a U.S. attorney, has been an outspoken critic of the FBIs investigation into Clintons use of a private email server, saying on Fox Business Network last month he was uncomfortable with the way the investigation was conducted in part because witnesses were not compelled to testify before a grand jury. He also has said it seems like the FBI had not fully investigated the dealings of the Clinton Foundation while Clinton was secretary of state and that, in his view, Clinton might have used her position to benefit the foundation.

Duh? Did you think he was kidding?? REALLY???
Let loose the hounds...
With Rudy appointed as special prosecutor, it’s curtains for Hillary.
The Clinton Family Foundation and Slush Fund has been begging for investigation, but we did not have any honest people in the Justice Department to do it.
That changes on January 20.
I hope they send them both to prison and Chelsea, too
That’s hope and change I can believe in.
A big step towards “draining the swamp” would be to demonstrate to the people that no one is above the law and no one is too big to jail. Clinton abused her office for personal gain while putting the US at risk, to fill her pockets. If there is anyone who deserves to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, it is Hillary Clinton. If they could jail Bill and Chelsea, that would be excellent.
No one is getting one year and a fine for child sex trafficking.
I’m totally against targeting her directly. Target the Clinton Foundation, lock up the money, and bring back our Uranium. Then let nature take it’s course.
The Clinton’s collected billions for promises to be delivered in the future. Those promises aren’t going to happen and some very important and dangerous people will want satisfaction.
Mark my words pardons will be extended
And slick, and scupper lip and hum-a-weiner and probably a “hole” bunch more as well. Not that it’s a bad thing. ;-)
Lock her up!
I don’t see Jeff Sessions cutting any corners or compromising in any way on ethics. HE seems to be as good as it gets.
“Jeff Sessions as attorney general could mean trouble for Hillary Clinton and her family”
As well as present Attorney General Loretta Lynch, I suspect.
CGI pays for the wall
Comey and Lynch just didn't decide to bury the indictment, that took real power.
If you are going to jail Hillary and Bill and Huma and Brazile, you are going to have to charge Hussein Obama with obstruction of justice. Hussein is the only one who has enough horse power to force people to openly break the law.
From your lips to God’s ears, Washington Compost.
With Trump as president, we can expect Hillary to be in prison by next summer.
How can you possibly target the CF without going after Hillary and Bill directly? They used the CF to sell access, enrich donors, and essentially launder money. It is like saying that the FBI was investigating her server. No, they were investigating her.
The Clintons collected billions for promises to be delivered in the future.
No, many of the promises have already been delivered. Read Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich
This blockbuster exposé reveals the mysterious multimillion-dollar Foundation gift from an obscure Indian politician that coincided with Senator Clintons reversal on the nuclear nonproliferation treaty; how Secretary of State Clinton was involved in allowing the transfer of what was projected to be 50 percent of US domestic uranium output to the Russian government; how multimillion-dollar contracts for Haiti disaster relief were awarded to donors and friends of Hillary and Bill . . . and more.
