Romney was pretty good at gutting companies and laying people off. If we could get him to do that to the bureaucracy we’d be in great shape.
Why would a CEO hire on a man that was trashing him personally and his goals up until a week ago?
Is he supposed to think Romney now likes him and agrees with his goals?
What is Trump to say when Romney does what he damn well pleases, and the project is delayed months on end?
Romney could look him in the eye and say, “I told you I didn’t like you or your plans up until a week before you hired me. Don’t blame me!”
I would hope Trump would not go down this track, because it would make him look terrible if his appointment didn’t apply themselves sincerely.
The blemish would be totally Trumps, and not his appointee.
