He’s picking the best and brightest, regardless of party.
maybe just choosing people that are the most qualified for the job, barring party affiliation, race, and all those other factors that liberals whine about all the time?
there are lots of people that used to be Democrat that turned Republican once the Muslim Manchurian Candidate took office and realized that he and his kind had usurped their party to turn them into braindead liberal minions...
CNN heads are exploding so that is a good sign.
Pray America woke
But the general is a democrat. I wonder why Trump is choosing some of them?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
My guess is he realizes that since there are so few decent Democrats, every one he takes into his administration leaves their party that much weaker.
Sheeesh.
I prefer a military-minded person in this role way more than a diplomatically-minded one. We must not negotiate with terrorists or any other person that wants to cause us any harm.

BINGO! Although we all know some high-ranking military officers who have made seriously misguided policy decisions. Wesley Clark comes immediately to mind. Also Colin Powell.
Anyway - it was lame of me.
That's my ONLY mistake this entire election :-) Mea vanity culpa and sincere apologies Mr. Flynn, although I suspect it didn't totally ruin your day.
cool, that’s going to leave a mark. Dems better put some ice on it.
I just don’t trust a general.
I thought ascending to that level in the military involved political cunning and intrigue.
I’d take General Patton right along with General Washington, General Nathaniel Green, General MacArthur, and a couple of other dozen Generals I can think of. It all depends on the MAN, not his title.
I’m sure he is, thanks ...
The guy has a terrible resume. He was found unqualified to be director of the Defense Intelligence Agency because he could not follow a simple order not to tell the truth. I mean, how hard is that. Everyone in D.C. can do it except for him.
_____________
I’ll give Trump the benefit of the doubt. He has done really, really well so far.
Flynn is an outstanding choice . Take a look at his website:
https://www.michaeltflynn.com/about
“General Flynn has over 33 years of service in our nations military culminating as the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and as the nations highest serving military intelligence officer. His experience is broad and his expertise ranges in areas such as Intelligence, Counterintelligence, National Security and Cyber Operations. As DIA Director and Senior Military Intelligence Officer in the Department of Defense (DOD), General Flynn also served as the Commander, Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR). As Assistant Director of National Intelligence, he was responsible for International, Defense, and Domestic Law Enforcement and Intelligence Partner Engagement. He also served as the Senior Special Operations Intelligence Officer in Iraq and twice as the Senior Intelligence Officer in Afghanistan, serving nearly five years in combat. “
Angle or Angel?
Gonna be a few idjits here finding some reason to be “concerned” - to them I say, please be up to date on your donations or shut the hell up.
One of the most important qualifications for a position like this is for the person to have the complete and total trust of the President. I don’t think there is any doubt that Flynn has that.
