I think she’s wearing a tiny bit of makeup. No foundation but some rouge on her cheeks, a little bit of eyeliner and mascara, and of course, lipstick.
I have high school friends who look several decades younger than she does. In fact, when I see updated pictures of them, I think back to what people our age looked like when we were in school and teenagers. Simply amazing.

I have had 4 eye surgeries and noticed earlier today that I think I will have to have more eye lift surgery. My right eye which was damaged more in the fall is nearly closing. Just what I need since I already need 2 more including a cornea transplant. God is in control though.
My wife is beautiful and other than a small bit of occasional eyebrow liner, she has never worn makeup. We met when she was 20. We recently celebrated our 45th anniversary. Some women present well with or without makeup, some not so much.

It is a bit of a mystery to me how one woman going without makeup “empowers” another. I mean, I lean over and say to a colleague, “hey, Hillary Clinton went on TV with no makeup last night. Do you feel more powerful?” and I’m guessing she’ll wonder what’s in the coffee. I feel safe in stating that if Michael Moore danced naked onstage there wouldn’t be a guy in the place who felt any more powerful, or, for that matter, any more or less inclined to do so himself.
