It was easy. He had the press in his pocket as well as the Nobel Peace Prize committee. Everything he did was glorious according to them. They could have taught Baghdad Bob a few tricks.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump honestly came out of that White House meeting with a very different attitude. I expect the view from behind that desk is very sobering. You can see the effect it had on Obama. He went from being 100% stupid and useless to being 99% stupid and useless. That was a profound change for him.
