Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Shepard Smith Reporting,” network “The Kelly File” host Megyn Kelly talked to Shepard Smith about the months-long ordeal she experienced in her back-and-forth with then-GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Kelly, who was promoting her book “Settle for More,” did not say she thought it was outright bullying she experienced, but “attempted bullying” from the now-president-elect.
“When it started happening with Trump, it was like this is familiar,” she said. “I’ve been through this before. And so it’s always good to find a silver lining. But I would say that was one. I had already experienced a year of bullying.”
“Then when Trump did it, you knew what it was?” Smith replied.
“I always take a little issue with the notion he bullied me,” she said. “I think the technical definition of bullying is somebody tries to strong-arm you into compliance and then you comply. And so, I feel like it was an attempted bullying.”
“Attempted bullying?” Smith said.
“Yeah, because he never got me to comply,” Kelly continued.

shes the kind of woman that men hate....thinks everything revolves around her and it always comes back to some kind of “sexual” issue. For some reason, she thinks her so called “now famous” question to Trump was some kind of crowning moment.., he totally flipped it on her, and the crowd was laughing their asses off at her. And sure enough, the question had to do with sex. I’ve met so many of these psychos over the years. Annoying biotch. I sure wish someone would confront her with the Howard Stern interview....
Her Gingrich interview was an hilarious backfire.
More hypocrisy given that she is head and shoulders the most bullying harridan I have ever seen or heard of. She had a makeover to make her look more butch, though the word spelled with an "i" is what she turned herself into.
Don’t you just love it when a people think they are bigger in life than the people they cover as supposed journalists, that the story is about them?
The result — you saw it in spades in this “one way” interview.
In my view she planned way in advance to bring a grenade to the debate, pull the pin and close the door — i.e., topics about sex to embarass him as much as possible instead of questions on main issues that concerned the voting public.
How about the economy, immigrants breaking the law while being rallied on by the other party, foreign policy, abortion, etc.?
Newt was right, for Kelly it is all about sex and bullying (by her) of the person she’s interviewing.
As someone here said, a female Glenn Beck.
She’s hoping to become a Barbara Wa Wa Walters bigger in life than the interviewee — where it was always about her and not the person being interviewed.
