Just reported.
“Everyone kissing the ring of The Donald.”

Actually, I suspect they were simply clearing the air since they have goals in common and can work together to better achieve them. Cruz & Sessions (and, to a lesser degree, a small handfull of others) are the two Senators I trust most in the Senate. They can work to help make sure the Senate RINOs don’t succeed in any attempts to subtlely sabotage Trump’s priorities.
Those numbers are WRONG. They were posted by one dubious source, and since then, quite a few people have run with them.
Cruz is a freshman Senator in his 40s. Hes not leaving the Senate for a cabinet job.
****************
You may be correct. But if you look at Cruz’s work history he hasn’t held many positions
for any long period of time. In other words he moves about from job to job expanding his
resume/experiences.
I love Trump’s New York values.
We’ll see.
They have (ahem) a difficult past to overcome, which is entirely possible should both choose to be wise and tamp down emotion.
Please post link. Everyone, from aol to Politico is still claiming Trump got only 290 EVs and Hillary won the popular vote by 2M. Decision Desk won’t even acknowledge that they finished counting in Michigan.
Not real numbers, google them. It’s that article where someone says he got them from twitter 3 days ago. The tallies are not done yet and some votes will never be tallied, if the SOS in that state thinks there are not enough outstanding to change the races in that state. I think the much more telling #’s are the number of illegal alien votes >3million which would have been heavily skewed to Hillary. She lost the American citizen popular vote by a big #.
“AG is the subject, so I heard.”
That makes sense. The transition team is under a time crunch, and I don’t think now is the time to discuss SCOTUS. Clearly, Cruz didn’t stop in just because he was in the neighborhood. Not sure Cruz has the leadership experience to run a department yet. Probably Cruz applied for the job and was given at least a courtesy interview.
Source?
We really don’t want someone on the Supreme Court who thinks a child born in Saudi Arabia to a Palestinian father and an American mother is a natural born citizen.
That goes both ways.
Didn’t Cruz recomend justice Roberts to the Bush admin?
I have been monitoring green papers.
Today is the first time they show R got more popular votes.
http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G16/PresidentVoteByParty.phtml
Democratic 51 20 40.82% 61,575,307 47.74%
Republican 51 29 59.18% 60,735,243 47.09%
Regarding that site, I wish I knew what FEC Total Receipts means, they are listed in Trillions of dollars, which I can’t wrap my mind around.
Aw crud, my mind inverted the numbers, sorry. Disregard.
These battles have gone on throughout our history. They have been vicious and personal. But it is time to heal and get on to governing. Ted Cruz is a true conservative. He should have honored the pledge earlier than he did. He is someone who honors and brilliantly defends the Constitution. Argue with me if you like, but he belongs on the Supreme Court.
How about SCOTUS?
IMHO he does not belong in any position with constant contact with the President. There are still wounds. SCOTUS is perfect and I trust him to defend the Constitution.
Since Rudy looks like he’s headed for State, and Christie is on the outs because of the fallout from Bridgegate, I think Cruz is being considered for AG. That’s a good move, actually.
Those numbers are WRONG. They were posted by one dubious source,

Correct and that site 70News.....
https://70news.wordpress.com/category/politics/
That might come as a surprise to people who Googled the phrase “Final Election Count” as late as 2 p.m. on Nov. 14. The first entry in Googles news category — above those from news links to the Washington Post and Politico — was a Nov. 12 post (updated the following day) from a little-known site called 70news.
“Final election 2016 numbers: Trump won both popular (62.9M-62.2M) and Electoral College Votes (306-232),” the posts headline said.
Cruz belongs at Trump’s right hand. The Silverback mentoring his greatest protege.
