A pipe dream by Liberals. A popular vote election would result in by parties focusing on the largest States (NY, TX, CA) and the big cities (e.g., NYC, Chicago, and Los Angeles). The rest of the nation would be "flyover country".

The Founding Fathers were wise in establishing the Electoral College as a way to make sure all of the country would have a say in who is elected President. The Electoral College, as amended, has served the People well and so it should remain.

They were also wise in having the States select their Senators. Let us pray America never again has a brain fart as bad as the 17th Amendment.
