President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to jumpstart a bill in Congress that would ban the Muslim Brotherhood by declaring it a terrorist organization.
Trump foreign-policy adviser Walid Pheres told Egyptian news outlet Youm7 that the legislation, introduced a year ago by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was held up due to the Obama administration’s support of the group. But Trump plans to back the bill.

It’s a pet peeve of mine... people saying “bigly” on FR -and it seems to be trending.
I just hate it - it seem like more and people, even here, think Trump is ingnorant enough to say “bigly” when in fact he’s saying “big league”.
I know, FReepers aren’t purposely trying mock or make fun of Trump -it’s said with affection, like GW saying “strategery”.
But I think it fuels the liberal SNL crowd in their asinine schtick of relentlessly mocking any republican until the whole world accepts the premise that they are stupid knuckle dragging cretens.

Agreed. Cruz fought, and lost, a lot of “good fights” since he was elected. At least, unlike most of the Republicans, he would actually fight to stop Obama/democrat policies, as he also did regarding Obamacare.

Look at the history of the foundation of the Muslim Brotherhood back in 1941 , the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Amin al-Husseini supported the Nazis and raised a whole regiment of Muslims to fight for Hitler. They were terrorists from the beginning.
