I own three pre-1989 Federal Ordnance M-14A’s with bayonet lug and all. Firing them is such a dream I have to drop the magazine before I burn up all the ammo.
Found an M-14E2 stock but without hardware. Treeline.com has a buttpad & standard M-14 hardware works for swivels. With a Springfield Armory scope mount I may have found the perfect rifle.
It’s morning in America and we gun owners have so much to look forward to. We have been blessed.

Very nice. My next door neighbor had an M14 when I was in high school. It's a very fine rifle. You have some good ones there. My .308s are good quality bolt action rifles. One is really a bench rifle at 11 lbs. The other is about 7 lbs and quite suitable in the field. Some day I'm hoping to enjoy hunting season when I'm not working 55 to 70 hours a week. At age 60, I'm running out of viable time for that to happen.
