First of all Dukakis, if Trump needed to win the popular vote he would have ran his campaign to do so. Also she didn't win the popular vote. How many illegals voted in California alone?
150 years electoral college, and now you all don't like it? I don't remember you having this in your campaign when you ran.

Democrats want to fraud it up in California, with no voter ID and millions of illegal aliens.
They simply don't have the two-thirds House/Senate and three-fourths of the states to change the Constitution.
To: ColdOne
AND WE should be IGNORING this BS about getting rid of the electoral college (read 55 men and the constitution). We should be focusing on a NATIONAL VOTER ID program and a program to RECOMMEND to all states that would help them bring their (dead) voter rolls up to date.

Lol. Good luck with 32 republican governors, a majority of state houses, the congress and the president. Maybe in 50 years.

It seems that I have said this before on a dozen threads. This issue is not that the Electoral College exists, it is how the individual states choose to allocate their Electors. When the States choose to allocate their electors in a “winner take all” format, it tends to disenfranchise many voters. For example, if you are a Republican in California, New York or Illinois, your vote is irrelevant to the outcome in national elections. If you are a Democrat in Texas, same thing.
Having said that, I would be perfectly happy if 48 States would follow the lead of Maine and Nebraska and allocate their electors based on their congressional districts. This would force the candidates to wage national campaigns and not the regional campaigns that we see today.
Just my 2 cents worth.

So tired of the popular vote winner not winning the election. Clearly Clinton was robbed by Obama in 2008.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Michael Dukakis says his party must do everything in its power to abolish the Electoral College. From where I sit, his party has precious little power right now. Hallelujah!

Voter fraud is heavily concentrated in a few already-deeply-blue states. The electoral college system minimizes the effectiveness of that fraud, since it is predominantly in states that are electoral college blue anyway.
The democrats HATE that the effectiveness of massive voter fraud is minimized.
No surprise there.
