I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. It does appear (at least with his words) that he gets it. As to his last sentence.... he’s right. There’s a ton of ugliness. Look at all the protests going on as we speak.
“As to his last sentence.... hes right. Theres a ton of ugliness. Look at all the protests going on as we speak”
I’d bet anything that that ugliness is not what he’s referring to. In fact he probably finds that beautiful,
He takes endless shots at the deplorables in the body of the text. I read the whole thing. Bruni spends one sentence on marriage “equality”, nothing on transgender bathrooms and the rest about how Trump is going to screw up in two years and his ilk will regain the Congress.
Except he’s thinking our side is just as ugly.
And the ugliness is from ugly people...some paid to perform. We all suspected there would be protests after this election, and even more so if the Dems lost. Some are actual protestors, but the majority IMO are paid dissenters making $15 per hour. Cheapskates selling their souls for $15 an hour.
The ugliness he meant is the aforementioned grandma who doesn’t believe in letting men in dresses into the ladies’ room.
None of this is about him realizing the insanity of liberal policies. It’s about them changing their pitch to soft-sell them instead of threatening people to comply.
