WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton is blaming the FBI's decision to revive its examination of her email accounts for her devastating defeat in the presidential election.
On a call Saturday with top campaign donors, Clinton said her campaign was winning until FBI director James Comey sent a letter to Congress on Oct. 28 announcing that the FBI had uncovered emails possibly related to its earlier probe into her use of a private server as secretary of state. The new examination was sparked by an unrelated investigation into former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of one of her top aides.
Clinton told the donors that her campaign was leading by large margins in nearly every battleground state and was tied in Arizona, a traditionally Republican stronghold, until Comey released his letter.
Comey told lawmakers the Sunday before the election that the bureau had found no evidence to warrant criminal charges. His "all clear" message only served to further motivate Trump supporters, Clinton told donors on the call.
In the nine days between Comey's initial statement and his "all clear" announcement, nearly 24 million people cast early ballots. That was roughly 18 percent of the expected total votes for president.
While Clinton accepted some blame of her loss, said donors who listened to her call, she made little mention of the other factors driving Trump's victory: A desire for change by voters, possible sexism, the difficulty of a political party winning a third White House term, her campaign's all-but-dismissal of white working class voters and flaws within her own message.

Gosh, I hope Comey doesn’t have an accident around the house. Such things can sometimes be fatal.
And we need to keep in mind the establishment republicans that stayed home.
How about the fact that you ran for the highest office in the land with that hanging over your head and ready to come down at any second.... so if it comes down, it’s somebody else’s fault? Ok.. maybe it’s the fault of those who voted for you in the primaries and said “damn the torpedoes.... we’re with her”. Ok, whatever.....
Um. no honey, just look in the mirror and you will see whose fault it all is.
This is why she always opens her mouth wide and points at someone in the crowd when she climbs on a stage: “When I screw up, it’s his/her fault!”
In a way you have a point although Comey appears to be a dirty cop. If Comey had charged her, she might have been forced to drop out and likely replaced by Bernie Sanders - and he might have been more difficult to defeat.
Comey’s announcement simply served to remind people why they don’t like you, Hillary!
I imagine the Democrats’ great ‘early voting’ idea didn’t work out too well for her but I read earlier that she dominated in ‘early voting’ in MN, but on election day (after Comey’s change) it was 2:1 for Trump. Those voters had ALL the information as they went to the polls. Had it not been for ‘early voting,’ Trump would have also carried MN.
I am of the opinion Bernie would have won.

Maybe Secretary of State Hillary shouldn’t have had an illegal, insecure email server in her bathroom, illegally erased tens of thousands of government emails from her illegal email server AND had a chief-of-staff who stupidly copied 650,000,000 emails onto her pervert husband’s laptop! MAYBE, just MAYBE, that was a tiny part of the problem.

Frankly, I think he should be sharing a cell with Hillary in prison.
IMHO, the ONLY reason he recommended against indictment was because he’s dirty.
