California’s new U.S. senator is positioning herself to be a leader in the fight against Donald Trump on immigration.
Kamala Harris’ first public appearance as senator-elect this week was at the headquarters of an immigrants’ rights group in Los Angeles. Harris has followed the appearance up with a post on the website Medium saying she wanted “every immigrant family in this country – as well as the new Trump administration – to know exactly where I stood on immigration reform.”

She hasn’t even been sworn in as senator, and I have seen touting her as potentially becoming the first woman president. Sheesh, and I thought they jumped the gun a bit on Barky.
Just enforcing e-verify and punishing violators rather than those who comply will get rid of a lot of illegals. No pay check and no EITC no rent money.

While serving as District Attorney in Alameda County Harris recruited other District Attorneys and filed an amicus brief in District of Columbia v. Heller, arguing that the Second Amendment does not protect an individual’s right to own firearms

She apparently hired a lot of armed people as her AG police force to go out and investigate gun ownership legal and so called not illegal.
They were allowed to confiscate weapons at their will in homes and vehicles.

I was thinking the same thing and because she is black they believe she would secure that vote just like O did and the women vote too.
I have a general rule of thumb when I go to vote. If I see an ethic-centric name or a hyphenated name on the ballot, I just skip over it. Works well for me.

Many Black men voted for Trump. Not Black women, who benefit massively from big government — who doesn’t have bitchy fat Black bureaucrats everywhere at their local DMV, tax office or municipal gov’t offices? But Black MEN are victimized by job losses and crime caused by illegal immigration. Trump needs to embrace them on this issue, even more than the fine job he did on the stump.

But that’s noting new, it’s what the do continually! That is why the country must see tangible results from the Trump Presidency, particularly with minorities. There will be nothing to “flip” if Trump is successful.
This is going to be fun, President Trump does not need CONgress to enforce EXISTING LAW, She is welcome to come along for the ride, but she has to ride in the back.
