Most devastating electoral defeats in United States history at least had some mitigating circumstances. In 1984, Walter Mondale got blown out by Ronald Reagan, a popular incumbent President presiding over an improving economy. Barry Goldwater lost the 1964 election by a large margin, but his opponent was another incumbent President with extensive resources to marshal.
Hillary Clintons stunning collapse is different. Its hard to think of a historical analog that could come close to resembling the magnitude and depth of the failure. She had a popular incumbent President campaigning for her furiously; the popular First Lady did likewise. The economy is far healthier than it was eight or even four years ago.

The Clintons wanted to establish a dynasty. Clinton after Clinton DESERVING to rule. Americans went to war against inherited royal power. The arrogance and entitlement were odious and were the basis for rejecting her even if you didn’t quite believe she was as evil as she is.A 70 year old, terminally ill, socialist woman with delusions of grandeur might find a job in a third world country. She should apply to several.
She was counting on a “Coronation” rather than an election.
Hillary spent $0 in Wisconsin. That’s Zero Dollars.
Hillary lost because she did not take Sanders as her running mate. She likely would have been president today of she had.
Look at the margin of victory in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. ( The Blue Wall). Sanders would have delivered those states for Hillary.
There is little doubt about it.
And not bringing Sanders onto her ticket was her destruction. She effed herself BIG LEAGUE.
Hillary could only tolerate a drone, testosterone deficient male politician, her arrogance destroyed her.YAY!
Exactly.
Or the fact that Trump worked his a*** off with rallies - even in places like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and Michigan - while Hillary depended mostly on her multi millions for ads and voter fraud to win.
Add to that God’s gracious mercy and miraculous intervention - and she was toast!
It has been said since the inception of the United States of America God has had His hand on us as a Nation. For reasons only known to Him he withdrew His hand sometime in the later part of the 1960’s.
Now and again for reasons only known to Him he has once again put His hand on America.
I think we better not screw it up again. No one, not even God has (IMO) unending patience.
Priceless video that supports the bubble the elitists live in on YouTube:

Hillary spent $82.3 million in Florida.
My dad died in Florida last August. Wouldn't be surprised if he voted for a Democrat for the first time since Wallace in 1968.
I saw that video on YouTube this morning, but I didn’t add it to my “liked” videos, unfortunately, so I can’t find it again. I hate when I do that! It’s a super compilation!
I also saw a similar one this morning that was posted by Mark Dice. I subscribe to his YouTube channel, so it was easy to find his video again.
I’m glad to see that these videos are getting out there!! Thanks for posting yours here!
i agree - and i think this was the undercurrent that sank the Clinton ship. they finally got tired of hearing that things were great, saw inaction on the economy in DC, heard platitudes from Herself, then she told ‘em she was going to put ‘em out of work (energy workers), then she insulted them (deplorables) -— uh, is this any way to attract support? !!!
She is right up there with Tokyo Rose. Or should I say down there.
that is the reason I give for voting for trump when ever a liberal questions me. they literally have nothing to come back with but the normal mantra of trump being a racist and misogynist. but of course them In talk about the accusers and the difference between them and those that came out and accused her husband and if they try to claim that it was her husband not her. I talk about the harassment that Hillary did of Kathleen willy through surrogates. they hate it when I mention the killing of her cat and the annoymass phone calls where her children’s names are used to scare her.
Barry Goldwater was running on the heels of an assassination that left the country reeling and caused a huge sympathy vote.
She had a popular incumbent President campaigning for her furiously; the popular First Lady did likewise.
As someone else already pointed out, the polls are not very accurate. On what basis do we assume either Obama or Michelle are popular?
I recall that soon after Obama was elected, Michelle would go out in public wearing genuinely horrible clothing, while the entertainment media dutifully gushed about her poise and elegant sense of fashion. But her wide boob belts (which she eventually stopped wearing) looked absolutely ridiculous, and her clothing choices are all over the board, as likely to be attractive as they are to be ghastly. Despite their best efforts, the entertainment media never managed to launch a Michelle Obama fashion trend.
The economy is far healthier than it was eight or even four years ago.
That is so easy to debunk. A quarter of young adults below age 35 still live with their parents. If the economy is so good, why aren't they out working and raising families?
The link in my tagline not only gives a good snapshot of the current economy, it allows one to look at the past: 1980, 1990, 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012. It is an interesting site to poke around. It shows that there are some real issues, which, if not fixed, are poised to cause some major economic problems.
You are clearly wrong: Bill ("Ted Baxter") O'Reilly has assured us there is no voter fraud and no rigging of elections.
In the immortal words of Johnny Cash- “God’s Gonna Cut You Down”.
