Following the win by Donald Trump in the presidential election, Oscar-winning filmmaker Michael Moore has been making the rounds on cable news talking about the shocking result.
Speaking with CNN's Don Lemon Thursday night, Moore showed footage he took on his phone while marching with protesters of Trump's win in New York City, and also touched on the low voter turnout in this year's election.
"A lot of people have given up," Moore told Lemon.

Tom Hanks would be good. Didn’t he play a Washington wheeler-dealer in a movie (”Charlie Wilson’s War”) a few years back? And isn’t that just about all the “experience” that Democrats care to bring to the table?
Of course, there is the “war hero” aspect, as in “Saving Private Ryan”, and also the Viet Nam service in “Forrest Gump”.
A black female with SCADS of money. If only Oprah had a Spanish surname and were a lesbian, she’d be the perfect Dhimmicrap candidate.
(Especially if she also had a disability.)
We all owe Moore a debt of gratitude. His brilliant talk on his Trumpland “movie” was meant to persuade people who liked Trump to vote for Hillary. But it backfired big time when the first five minutes went viral on Youtube and no one bothered to listen to the rest of it. Ha Ha Ha, Moore you idiot.
I’ll put money on Cory booker. They’ll go back to the playbook that works and he’s a pretty likable guy.
Great scott!! LOL! The loony left has just gotten worse, if possible!
Hanks/Wilson 2020
Now, that’s a laugh!!!!
Tulsi Gabbard would be a good choice so it won’t happen.
“Michael Moore lists Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks as ideal Democratic nominees in 2020”
Call me a contrarian; but I think the commie has a point.
Election is about likability now. And has been for a long while.
If an articulate bubble-headed Kennedy steps forward, is it conservative heresy to suggest he or she will have a damn good shot at winning?
Political experience and qualifications are so desirable, but no longer so essential.
Did Trump have a political career? Was Obama qualified? Nope.
If I was on Michael Moore’s side of the aisle, I’d be looking for someone who could simply get voters to pull the lever. That’s it. The party could do the rest.
None of their politicians are free of corruption, which can be their undoing.
As a human being, Moore may be a slob, but as an analyst he may not be. I respect him not. But I acknowledge he predicted a Trump victory and justified it articulately afterwards to his fellow commies.
Democrats are so shallow that they probably think Hanks really is all his acting roles.
Plenty of tape on Oprah
Larry David, cuz Bernie will be feeling the nurses’ bums by 2020 but Larry should be good for it, he was perfect as Bernie on SNL.
But probably Michelle Obama is being groomed for this honor of being the second Mondale.
Other possibilities, Snowflake-in-Chief Stephen Colbert, Michael Moore himself, the current governors of any west coast states, Chelsea Clinton, and (if he gets fed up with Paul Ryan) Donald Trump.
Great nominations. Guarenteed to FAIL!
And Pee Wee Herman as VP.
He landed the airliner in the Hudson too and can survive on a desert island for years. He has also been a famous transvestite.
LOL Oprah holding book clubs and women empowerment gatherings at the whitehouse with all her dogs running around, what a mess she would be as president.
Well, look at it from his point of view. He thinks Trump got elected in part because he was a recognizable celebrity that people are already comfortable with. Maybe he is right to some extent.
Makes more sense to get a leftie celebrity to run than to run some other loser Dem career politician, when voters on both sides want a change in the status quo.
I nominate Eddie Murphy. If the left wants to nominate leftists from a stage, might as well be a comedian, because half this country would be laughing anyway at the Democrats. Heck, Whoopi Goldberg could be the VP pick, because you’ll get a Jew on the ticket. Of course they’ll lose, but the humor will lift liberals spirits.
