Of course, Goodell and the NFL still refuses to include the fan boycott of the NFL sparked by the behavior of Kaepernick and other anti-American and anti-White players during the games' Nation Anthem ceremonies.

But this fan disgust has actually been building up over recent years in reaction to the collaboration of Goodell's NFL with liberal activists in media and the advertisement industry to "totally transform" football games into liberal indoctrination sessions that Mao and his Cultural Revolution comrades would be proud of.

Look to the similar ill fate falling on the NFL's close media ally in this social justice transformation of sports from non-poitical entertainment into liberal indoctrination, ESPN:

"ESPN Loses 621,000 Subscribers; Worst Month {October} In Company History"

Have more traitors sit through My National Anthem.
That’ll bring back more viewers.
I remember 40 or 50 years ago when the NFL went on strike.
To fill the vacancy, the networks broadcast the Pop Warner Games. People absolutely loved watching kids play football, some of the kids didn’t know all rules and did things unexpected and never seen in pro-football. They weren’t machine professionals. They made mistakes, occasionally cheated and acted like kids. The people loved them. When the NFL strike was over, the NFL had a hard time displacing the Pop-Warner Kids.

I gave up on the NFL when JJ bought the Cowboys. They are not getting me back. NHL and college football for me.

Things to do other than watch the NFL:

Take a day off from your job.
Pick up litter thrown around your neighborhood.
Read the bible.
Go to church.
Spend time with your wife, the mother of your kids, doing chores.
Wave and smile to police who drive by.
Take down your Trump signs.
Go to the range and do some shooting.
Watch youtube videos of WWII and the Korean War and other important American History.

Notice, he doesn’t mention a pull back from his anti-American stance.

I have not watched a single game this year and won’t. And I will not watch the Super Bowl.

The drop in NFL ratings has nothing to do with the NFL showing disrespect to our country, to our parents and grandparents who died for America or for us as Americans. They need to continue the protests because there is no better way to start an open dialogue than by directing a mortal insult against the other side.

Who was the broadcaster who went on a halftime anti-gun rant a couple of years ago?

That seemed to kick off (pun?) the political aspect of the commentary, or at least is what I remember as putting it in high gear. It was objectionable enough that instead of zoning out at half-time, you’d leave the room or change channels, and maybe not return.

I used to be an NFL junkie but no more (used to be a Steelers fan). Fortunately a sport is trying to market to patriotic Americans. Hockey, try it, you might like the switch.

Las night the NHL had veterans nights at arenas around the country.
NHL Teams Pay Tribute to Military Service

and are thinking of putting a marquee game at West Point.

Maybe the NFL is inspiring other sports not to be like them.

The NFL started losing me as the SuperBowl half time shows became gayer and gayer. It was like shingles slowing falling from my eyes as I began to recognized how the league actually views their fans. I see the same model for most sports any more. Sadly, even the PGA tour is showing signs of the same way of thinking.

That’s the NFL’s problem. Occam’s razor.

Dear NFL dullards,
You decided to mix politics with football, at the urging of the left.
Please expect half of your fanbase to disappear.
That is all.

Progressives are blinded by their ideology. However, if things don’t turn around, look for them to beg RUSH LIMBAUGH to return as a commentator.

Perhaps the former fans got fed up with the political, racist, anti-American behavior the NFL has been allowing to take over the league? I for one am one that tuned out, and continue to encourage my family and colleagues to do likewise. This includes boycotting games (TV and in person), radio telecasts, and the sponsors of this ancient Rome "Bread and circus's" crap.

I am voting with my wallet...

Note: the same is true for NCAA and ACC sports as well...
Signed: A former football (sports) fan...

While the length of the games is probably a factor, the main thing is the politicization of the NFL. In particular, while the overt alignment with BLM and certain other SJW movements is fairly recent, the NFL has for year been genuflecting to the goddesses of feminism. I think many men are tired of know-nothing female “commentators” and “reporters” who contribute nothing but, perhaps, a little T & A, but often not even that. Then there’s the insistence that players wear pink to show they “care” about “women’s issues”. And then there’s the promotion of the sodomite lifestyle. Who can forget how the NFL forced the Rams to draft the insufficiently talented Michael Sams so that the NFL could show that it was “inclusive” and loved faggotry. As for Goodell, there is much to be said, but the treatment of Brady was a disgrace. Evidently Goodell flunked chemistry and physics, so he didn’t understand the gas laws. Of course, I suspect he ultimately understood that cold temps decrease pressure, but he wanted to punish Belichek, and Brady was just a pawn. The NFL is just another reason to CUT THE CABLE!

No Lady GaGa Super Bowl half-time show! She should be on her way to Canada with Lena Dunham et al by then anyway. Boycott the Super Bowl.
