The league has seen its television ratings plunge this season, something that Goodell has said is related to a number of factors, including....

Notice, he doesn’t mention a pull back from his anti-American stance.
I have not watched a single game this year and won’t. And I will not watch the Super Bowl.
Last season they were 5-7-0. On Oct 3 2015 the team gave it’s ultimatum. They were 4-1-0 at that time. They then lost several low scoring games but only managed to win one more against a good BYU team.
This season they have no conference wins. Only two wins this season are against a winless Delaware State and that MEAC powerhouse ( 6-4 ) Eastern Michigan. Far cry from the team that took on Auburn and Alabama in the SEC championship games in 2013 and 2014.
Currently no serious coach wants to go near that self inflicted dumpster fire. If Mizzou wants to get back to football instead of liberal social issues then maybe they’ll be able to hire one. My guess is that most coaches would wait for all of the tantrum throwers to graduate or be off the team and for an administration who’ll back them before even considering the job.
And paid for, not by any of the things, but by the taxpayers.
The drop in NFL ratings has nothing to do with the NFL showing disrespect to our country, to our parents and grandparents who died for America or for us as Americans. They need to continue the protests because there is no better way to start an open dialogue than by directing a mortal insult against the other side.
Who was the broadcaster who went on a halftime anti-gun rant a couple of years ago?
That seemed to kick off (pun?) the political aspect of the commentary, or at least is what I remember as putting it in high gear. It was objectionable enough that instead of zoning out at half-time, you’d leave the room or change channels, and maybe not return.
I'm NFL-free since the week-1 player anti-Americanism and Goodell’s mealy-mouth response.
I used to be an NFL junkie but no more (used to be a Steelers fan). Fortunately a sport is trying to market to patriotic Americans. Hockey, try it, you might like the switch.
Las night the NHL had veterans nights at arenas around the country.

Maybe the NFL is inspiring other sports not to be like them.
Yes, all it would take for me to watch again is they stop pandering to the SJWs and announce that any disrespect will be fined heavily.
That would require firing Goodell and apologizing to their fan base, too, so ain’t gonna happen.
The Trump election was white working people's way of taking a knee.
Bob Costa, that was the fool’s name. THanx.
Especially that idiotic PINK MONTH as if Breast Cancer was the only health problem in the USA
“There hasnt been halftime entertainment for a long, long time at NFL games.”
Actually, there is. Some examples:

I assure you-feminists and SJWs don’t like this stuff!
The NFL started losing me as the SuperBowl half time shows became gayer and gayer. It was like shingles slowing falling from my eyes as I began to recognized how the league actually views their fans. I see the same model for most sports any more. Sadly, even the PGA tour is showing signs of the same way of thinking.
“They made mistakes, occasionally cheated and acted like kids.”
Sounds like not much has changed. I have long been disgusted with the head tackles, the late hits, the celebratory dancing for doing your job, the disrespectful walking ten yards into the backfield after you’ve made a play...but the cheating (with the commensurate “I dindu nuffin” posing) and the players acting like kids, trying to do the ref’s job on every first down or fumble have gotten severely out of hand.
If the golf channel goes full retard, I will cancel cable. Seriously considering doing it anyway..
ESPN is an NBC property, and thus very liberal in views.
NBC permits Bob Costas to delve into all sorts of liberal issues, like gun control and LGBT-ism, and they likewise push similar liberal issues on ESPN.
The NFL itself is now somewhat handcuffed because they have caved in over the years to the NFL Players’ Assoc. (union) and are restrained from penalizing players for many things.
“...the behavior of Kaepernick and other anti-American and anti-White players...”
___
That’s the NFL’s problem. Occam’s razor.
Wonder how those asshats feel about Doral/Cadillac now that Trump will be President when they play in Mexico?
