Good points. Will no longer watch Pardon The Interruption on ESPN and I’ve watched from the start. Wednesday’s opening was the last straw in a long history of straws. Just enjoyed it too much to give it up. Until now. Lifelong SI subscriber too until several years ago when they went full homo. Dropped another thing I had enjoyed, for decades in it’s case.
For me, of course the Kaepernick thing infuriates me, but I’m getting deflated because of the big money involved in pro sports. Taxpayers having to fund billion-dollar stadiums for the rich to own and for the rich to play. The huge multi-million-dollar contracts for players paid for by the masses who make far less and are forced to pay hundreds of dollars for a ticket and $12 for a hot dog. The dollars keep getting more and more while Joe Fan works hard to make the bank payment on the old car.
NFL embraced the SJW culture and tries to shove it down the throats of their fanbase, a largely anti-SJW population. Who but Roger Goodell couldn’t figure out this wasn’t going to end well.
And ESPN. Maybe now that Obama is retiring they can have him on even more regularly. It’s great when they broadcast his bracket picks. Maybe a 2 hr special on his basketball career and how it’s informed his political life. Maybe with him touchingly reciting the poem “Pop” that FMD ghost-wrote for him.

5, All of the above, and yes, cut the commercials, particularly on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday nights when the NFL thinks that the lack of sports competition gives them a license to run four minutes of commercials at every change of possession.
6. Get rid of the pink uniforms. Football is still primarily a man’s game. We all have wive’s mother’s, daughters, and friends who have suffered and died from breast cancer, but we don’t need it shoved down our throats every game.
7. Get rid of the Marxist salary cap because it creates a system of revolving doors that discourages fan loyalty.

I will add that some subjects have contrary opinions that are allowed to be presented, i.e. should marijuana be tested, the concussion problem, ownership vs. player relationships etc...
Unfortunately certain subjects are shielded by informed opinions that run counter to the ideology the networks promote. I don't feel sorry at all for them because they are the ones who shot themselves in the foot.
So, Goodell, it ain't the ads or the length of the game. It is your myopic view of what is really happening. The fans don't like to watch an event where anti-Americanism is rubbed in their faces by the Kaperneks of the league.
