A role for Newt Gingrich in Trump administration?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ^ | November 9, 2016 | Dan Chapman

Former Georgia congressman Newt Gingrich is sitting pretty today, a likely choice for a top position in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration.

U.S. Secretary of State Gingrich, anybody?

“I fully expect that Newt will get some type of very prominent position in the Trump administration,” Peake said Wednesday morning. “Who knows? There’s probably a handful of people who can name what they want and Newt would be on that short list.

Larry Sabato, who runs the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia, said Gingrich as secretary of state wouldn’t allow for many dull moments.

“If I owned a China shop I’d sell it, because Gingrich, in whatever role Trump gives him, will be a bull,” Sabato said via email. “Gingrich finally got his revenge on the Clintons—and it was total.”

You are an idiot. I watched this and he explains how terrorists get away with what they do.

You have some problem with his thinking and I am guessing about 50 points.

A rumor floating around today was that Trey Gowdy is being considered for the AG spot. That would be a remarkable appointment.

Ditto. A near repeat of my wife comments to me just yesterday. A long time green card holder, she is now considering citizenship. With the election she thinks this can again be a country she can respect. Just as she once reverently viewed this country when living in S Africa.

A nation can only be a good and great country when its people strive to live in accordance with the beauty of the Christian heritage we were gifted.

If you are OK with what he suggested there then you are ethically and morally void, and in addition I consider you an enemy of the people of the United States and its Constitution.

If you want war, bring on your Gingriches.

The weird thing about Gingrich is that he can be right on target for awhile, insightful, on point, quick enough on his feet to dance circles around the opposition and then he comes squarely down on the wrong side with unforced errors.

His self importance betrays him into statements that damage the side he is supposed to be supporting. I’ve seen it time & time again during Trump’s campaign, where after a week or so of functioning as a powerful asset he has let Donald out to dry on some small point rather than supporting the campaign by bringing out the bigger picture.

I would never want to put my trust in Gingrich because in the final analysis he has many great strengths but no loyalty. I think using him as a investigator general might be a good way to utilize his assets but not have him able to derail Trump’s agenda. Pence was a much better VP choice IMO.

Newt is an opportunist. He does what works. Newt is also a back stabber. Trump figured this out early on in the primary. Like Ryan, Newt will seve a purpose but can never be trusted.

It happens with such predictable regularity that I no longer believe it is accidental or unintentional, and neither is the desperate way he has been attempting to insert himself into the Trump team.

I suspected Gingrich of being an enemy (globalist) spy long ago and he has done nothing but reinforce that impression all this time.

We are going to have a serious problem if you can’t bring yourself to say that you oppose having the government deliberately allow enemy attacks on U.S. citizens.

Think long, hard, and carefully about your continued posts on this topic. Being on record as holding that position may have more risks than you presently realize.

Gingich is an ENEMY SPY inserted through his children’s books.

Don’t forget his co-conspirator wife that fronts the entire operation!

Damn NAZI’s

My continued posts with you are useless.

Check your Batteries, your threats mean nothing to me.

You might worry, if need be.

It was pretty desperate. Newt talked up his importance to the campaign and brought himself up in interviews as the likely choice for VP or Chief of Staff multiple times.

He preened himself throughout the campaign but especially before the VP pick was announced and was quite sharp when he wasn’t chosen. I agree, his actions support your theory. He is a Globalist and would be working toward his own ends, not hesitating to backstab.

No, thanks. If Newt Gingrich had not totally blown the Clinton Impeachment their crime machine would have crashed back then. I hope he just retires.

If nothing else, why would the guy who successfully defeated the Clintons take advice from the guy who failed miserably at it, whose failure directly resulted in another two decades of Clintonism?

Gingrich to supervise the taking apart of the federal bureaucracy.

John Bolton for Secretary of State.

Trey Gowdy for A.G.

Rudy G. for DHS.

Chuck Norris for head of ATF. :>)
