Lot of truth in what Moore said.
The electoral college is not bad, but it could be made better if it was congressional district by congressional with the senatorial 2 divided among the CDs of the state.
This tiny popular vote disconnect would disappear if big population states did not award EVs winner take all. The historical justification for the Electoral College doesn’t apply anymore when the Electors vote with their states, as they pretty much always do now.
btw 200,000 out of 130 million is 0.15%, and Hillary, doing fundraising, had visits to Calif. If the popular vote mattered (as Bush said), he would have spent time in Texas running up the score.
Oh, and people, another rebuttal for you.
Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in the 2008 DNC nomination against Obama, but he got the nomination.

He’s absolutely right on 1, 2 and 4. The Dems are ruled by a machine far more insular than the GOPe. They tried to throw the 2008 election for her with only token resistance, which she lost to. So in 2016 they tried to give her no resistance until Bernie showed up and almost won. The Dem machine is killing the party, which is bad all around, it’s actually good to have 2 sides honestly disagreeing with each other. There can’t be honest disagreement when one side is too busy deciding who’s next to believe anything.
Agenda driven news is bad. And it led them to this fate.
And a big part of this happened because took all their bases for granted without bothering to actually do anything for them. Trump scored better with Rust Belt big labor, Latins and Blacks than any GOP candidate ever.
His most recent doc is really good. He’s the first of the libs to break the “they’re all racist” narrative. He actually explained why Trump was popular without being an insulting jerk, and he was accurate. You can tell it was unwelcome news because reviewers hated it. It’s crazy I know, but somewhere along the lines Moore seems to have eaten a clue.
Yeah, that’ll be really effective, won’t it?
