Trump also should say to Ryan, McConnell, Pelosi, Schumer and the rest of the Uni-Party Establishment: “I don’t think the PEOPLE will like what you’re proposing, but why don’t we ask them, just to be sure?”
He then uses his bully pulpit to make a speech to the American PEOPLE, in which he explains what the Establishment is proposing, why he’s against the idea, and asks the PEOPLE to contact their representatives, through a special hotline and email address he has set up, with the pledge that he will make sure that the PEOPLE’s responses are forwarded to the appropriate representative (after tallying by the new White House Plebecite Office).
That will scare the crap out of those smug, elitist bastards.
