This is the way we should conduct ourselves in our country.

Again what choice did she really have? Shouldn’t give her credit for doing what she had no choice to do. In 2000 Florida was divided by what 500-600 votes out of seven eight million people? It was an automatic recount. And it was that one state (Florida) that was going to decide the presidency. What was she going to do contest every state that Trump won? He one by more than one state and he’s outside of the margin of an automatic recount in all of them. So there was no battle here for her to fight.

In Gore's defense, it was a very close election.

The 2016 popular vote was very close, but in the swing states that Trump won there really weren't any razor-thin margins like we had in Florida back in 2000.
