Good morning ML ((HUGS))
Not a waste. Once Penny gets the idea of walking without pulling, you can use the halter.
Who does animal cremations? Vet hospitals? Funeral homes?
The Vet has an agreement with the Pet Cemetery/Crematorium.
They give you a bunch of choices when one makes that last visit, and are very kind and compassionate about it.
Just like with humans, cremations are a lot less expensive than a burial. They give you a choice of “urns” and label everything properly.
I was treated very well when my husband died, but in the cases when I had to “take care of business” with my pets, the vets actually WEPT with me.
I have NEVER seen a funeral director for humans do that!
