Prop 63 Calling For Toughter California Gun Laws Passes

Californians have passed a ballot initiative that expands on some of the nation’s toughest gun control measures.

Proposition 63 won on Tuesday and in early reporting had 63 percent of about 4.5 million votes cast.

It calls for a ban on large-capacity ammunition magazines; background checks for ammunition sales and speeding the seizure of firearms from people who are no longer allowed to own them.

Note to President Trump. Get a new Justice on the SCOTUS immediately and tell him to get the 2A resolved this year. Note to the Congress, pass a nationwide CCW law and legislation preempting ALL STATE AND LOCAL GUN LAWS.

The Supreme Court "DC v Heller" and "Mcdonald v Chicago" decisions say that the right to keep and bear arms is a civil right.

The new DOJ needs to start enforcing it that way, and make elected officials subject to penalties the same as any other official civil rights violations.
