As the election results so clearly highlighted, America is a sharply divided country.
Tuesday's election of Donald Trump as the president of the United States has been called many things - "unprecedented," "shocking" and "stunning" among them.
Many, though, described the election with different words as it relates to women and people of color: failure, "disaster," "living nightmare."

One thing that may change is more EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL, rather than privileged favors for those who don't deserve them. The only group of Americans that deserve such, is the disabled.
President Trump, while I understand Cabinet positions are created by Congress, please don't fill the Secretary of the Department of Education seat. They are socialists and stand against your and most Americans' values. That is within your power to NOT hire that Cabinet position. Let the States and Municipalities take back control and let the DC bureaucrats flounder about. Push your Republican Congress to eliminate it altogether. The Fedgove has no place dictating to my local school what curriculum or lunch meals they must endure.
Also President Trump, since your main push was about creating jobs, you should reign in the EPA. It ranks right up there with burdensome regulations and NAFTA for chasing jobs out of America.
