George W. Bush and Laura Bush voted two weeks ago, but did not vote for either major party candidate, a spokesperson said.
In a statement to the Wall Street Journal, the spokesperson declined to say whether the former president and first lady had voted for a third-party candidate or whether they had written in another name. Although reports apparently erroneously claimed that the Bushes had voted for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, the failure to vote for Republican nominee Donald Trump is in itself a major departure from political tradition.

The Bushes and all establishment Republicans are just doing their jobs as the fake opposition to liberal Democrats. All part of the grand game of maintaining the charade of choice under uniparty.
Both Bushes are wimps. So pathetic!
Me too.
Me too...Never Forget...Drain the Swamp
It’s incredible Trump is where he is, after his own deserted him. He is fighting alone. Imagine where we’d be if even half the cowardly GOP were behind him - say one or two GOP ex-presidents campaigning with him to counter Bill Clinton and Obama! Disgusting.

i understand people doing certain things in the voting booth.
Why did they have to run and tell the press. This is nuts.
I enthusiastically voted for Trump.
And I held my nose and voted all Republican down ticket.
If Trump wins and then GOP helps him succeed, fine. If not, this will be the last election I ever vote for the damn GOP.
Ditto. I just voted GOP ticket all the way down to bug catcher. Including Marco Amnestio. Now I come home and see this slap in the face from Bush.
If the GOPe throw the election to Hillary FLIPPING Clinton it will be my last general election vote for any Republican. Period.
Shameful.
I despise W Bush because I voted for the bum twice....and he not only gave us obama, but he’s betrayed me in every other way as well.
The Bushes were never on our side. They are done as a family with any political influence.

I’m very disappointed in President Bush, who I voted for twice and defended till blue in my face. I’m going to throw out my George W. Bush commemorative cups in symbolic protest. Jeb might as well go back to the private sector. He and the rest of the Bushies are finished as a political family for a while.
Disingenuous. If the Bushes didn’t vote for Trump, it amounts to a vote for Hillary.
Big oil big business Bushes. Middle East is only about oil, always was.
I will be very glad when the names Clinton, Bush and Obama are no longer heard in polite company.
F Bush, forever
That’s exactly right, my main criticism of the man. There were WMD’s found in Iraq (chemical) and even after they were found buried all over Iraq Bush didn’t go public with it because he thought it would be unproductive and too much of a distraction to challenge the press narrative. To this day the myth of no WMD’s in Iraq survives, despite the facts of their discovery being published in the New York Times a few years ago. And of course his legacy suffered greatly because of his refusal to defend himself.
You can’t fix stupid.
Time to destroy the Bush family dynasty, starting with George P let them run as Democrats in the future.
The Bush Crime Family are allied with the Clinton Crime Family. All the Bushes and their shrubs voted for Clinton.
