Republican nominee Donald Trump holds a slight lead over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in Michigan on the eve of Election Day, according to a newly released poll.

Trafalgar group, a Republican leaning firm, surveyed over 1,200 “likely general election voters” in the Great Lakes state on Nov. 6.

Trump garnered 48.52 percent support, while Clinton received 46.82 percent support.

Bad math but yes, accurate in the sense that adding just OH, FL, IA and MI wins the White House for Trump!

I think we will add additional states for insurance such as PA, CO, NH, ME and NV.

No, NC was a Romney state and is included in the Romney totals.

I don't think Trump will have any trouble holding NC.

You’re right, Sam is wrong. Looks like Sam added in VA, not IA.

You are right!!! I think we have NH? NH+CO or PA or NV will do it.

Agreed, no chance a state with a GOP governor and 2 Senators abandons all its red brothers in just 4 years even as several more are flipping to red.

Yeah but NV and CO are the big worries with inconsistent polling. That’s why Trump is in the position of maybe needing a minor Hail Mary in a state that is even less traditionally Republican than those.

I read the crosstabs on this Trafalgar poll, which had Trump winning the 18-25 year old demographic. I just don’t buy that. Think this poll flawed.

I might agree with you if I had not gone to the Trump rally in Wilmington, NC, last Saturday. There were SO many young people there who were obviously true Trump supporters since they were wearing hats and T-shirts. Right behind us in line were two very handsome sophomores from UNCW. One was orginally from Philly and the other from Georgia. They said that Trump is very popular on campus!

How strong is the polling for CO? I have been going there for 20 years (in-laws). Given the people I have met - I cannot conceive that it has gone blue for 2 cycles.

Just sucks

Oh it certainly does and I’m hoping for the one state KO after those 3. I thought I might’ve missed something and then just NH would’ve given America the win.

MAGA

We’ve got to overcome the Detroit fraud vote that will come out of nowhere tomorrow night. That said, so much of Detroit is now abandoned it will make it harder to do.

I’m sure you all have your own write ups, but I’ve handed this out to my less-involved friends to keep tabs tomorrow night:

Romney states (206) + Iowa/Ohio/Florida (53) = 259

Need 11

Choose from

Nevada - 6
Colorado - 9
New Hampshire - 4
New Mexico - 5
Maine CD2 - 1
Michigan - 16
Pennsylvania - 20
Virginia - 13
Minnesota - 10
Wisconsin - 10

I was at the Scranton PA rally tonight. I was surprised to see almost half of the rally was 18-24 year olds.

How strong is the polling for CO?

There is ZERO enthusiasm for Hillary here - and I'm talking the metro Denver area.

2008 and 2012 saw a MASSIVE swell of support for Obama. Signs and bumper stickers absolutely everywhere.

I have seen exactly 1 Hillary bumper sticker - and I have been watching for them for a couple of months.

I have seen about 10 Hillary yard signs along a major thoroughfare - but they were all clumped together on one corner. It looked like someone was supposed to put them up and decided to get their job done quickly. No other signs along that street for miles.

Incidentally, those Hillary signs I saw were no longer there this morning. They have been replaced by a lot of Trump signs.
