Wisconsin should closely mirror Iowa imo.

Sort of misleading thread title. Makes it seem like the GOP got an advantage in early voting, when in fact liberal areas also spiked.

Republican voters have ALWAYS turned out in greater number than the Rats on election day.

Hellary needs a huge lead in early votes to have even a remote chance. If she’s narrowly ahead we are looking at a Trump landside

I lived in Wisconsin for my first 38 years, trust me, it’s a heartbreaker when it comes to Republican presidential politics, and it’s often misread. (see GHW Bush’s decision to visit the state 4x in the last 4 days of the 1992 campaign, because Mary Matalin thought it was close...lost by 5 pts.)

But, the narrower Hillary’s victory there, the better Ron Johnson’s chances. The total nightmare scenario is Hillary with an effective Democratic Senate majority (50 seats with Kaine as tie breaker.) She will have at least 2 and maybe as many as 4 SCOTUS nominations in a first term. That will hurt, real bad.

Just watched Trump’s ad running on the Lou Dobbs show. Damn, that was inspiring - words from his speech indicting the global world order and the elites who run it.

Are "early votes" the same as "absentee" votes? According to this site, approximately 797,000 absentee ballots are in. The link breaks it down by county.

It won’t be over tomorrow after Trump wins! It won’t be over until we rid the cesspool of Ryan and his ilk!

Wisconsin should closely mirror Iowa imo.

Mo. Iowa doesn't have a Milwaukee. Wisconsin also has a lot of heavy industry compared to Iowa. Michigan is a better comparison.

The 6 big counties in Texas with over 50% turnout traditionally go Republican. Meanwhile, one of the Democrat counties had less than a third of the voters cast ballots thus far (although most were in the mid 40s.)
