Population of Nevada: 2.89 million

Population of Clark County: 2.07 million.

If Nevada's in play, it has to come down to Clark County

Hmm what you say makes sense, yet counties such as Cook County, IL (much larger than Las Vegas/Clark County), are not included on the list...

Seems it is about more than just population and democratic percentages...There is an unpredictability to them that makes them swing counties...

I love books and prefer to purchase them...I would love to get the guy’s book, but the $100 price-tag discourages me—eh maybe I will dust off library card and read it on inter-library loan ;)

The demographics of Clark County fit the professor’s criterion of having mixed red and blue elements. It is not solidly one way or the other.

Thus, NV’s 6 electoral votes are in play and Clark County is the county that determines which way they go.

NV is a swing state, so Clark County is a battleground county.
