Just saw this on Wikileaks Twitter. Starting to search through them now.
Best.
Election.
Ever.
they held these back for a reason?
For all you whining FReepers that say that wiki hasn’t produced the bombshell, they dump the emails. WE have to find the dirt. 4Chan and reddit have people sifting through the emails, but they are newbies. We freepers know what to look for. If you want the bombshell, you have to look for it.
One of them was conversations with “Republican insiders.” These insiders expected Hillary to win and were saying what legislation she could introduce that would easily pass. So, a lot of things going on behind the scenes.
Old stuff released in July.
WikiLeaks has given us all that can or will affect the election already. If they had anything which would truly destroy Hillary — it would have already been exposed. Tomorrow or Tuesday will be too late to make a difference.
Too little and Waaaaaay to late.
This thread really should be in breaking news There is quite a bit of information in this new release.

If we have a likelihood of getting sued I need to look at it closely too if you want to move forward.
You can take it to them first to decide and if they say no that will save me time but I may end up making edits - or I may not - before it actually goes out.
My team if great as you know but I lawsuit should be on my shoulders.

I'll do the sign off which will probably slow it down a bit. For awareness.

However, Jackie said to Cate if you think getting sued would be awesome publicity and Amy and Lindsey are willing to go there, then lets talk, but "

New intel she just called me back.
Apparently Graham took this all the way to Marc, and he said no. So if we do this, we need to get Amy and Lindsey to agree that were ok with the possibility of getting sued.

Just talked to Jackie apparently because were talking about sexual harassment, the defamation risk is really high, but he hasnt been litigious yet, so
When I told her that we pulled every example from solid news sources, that made her feel a little better. Basically, its up to the DNC if its worth the risk, but if we decide to go forward, she thinks we should make sure were really confident in our research back-up, and asked us to flag it for them first.
What do you think?

Hi Cate,
The defamation risk here is too high. I know we are going for a parody, but given the content of the post (his private business practices, sexual harassment, etc) we would open ourselves up to a defamation suit if we posted.
Happy to discuss if you have questions.
Thanks,
Jackie

Hi Graham and Jackie,
This is copy for a job wed like to post on Craigslist. Were aware that it might get taken down, and were comfortable with that, but we want to make sure were not exposing ourselves to any other action when we post.
Thanks,
Cate
