The only possible way this email could have an effect is if it UNAMBIGUOUSLY, actually backed up the claim that was made in this post. In that case an independent black voter might have finally seen the light. However, as it is, it is a yawner & a nothing-burger.

The secondary effect of the manufacturing process: the dealer ends up with product that can be more easily subdivided, and sold separately. So, instead of selling a gram for >$100, the dealer could sell a small amount of crack for $10 or less.
And on top of that, the markup on crack was more than the equivalent amount of cocaine -- meaning more profit.
(prices are approximate, as I don't know what the market prices were, or are. Not my thing)
