EXCLUSIVE: Virginia Gov. Pardons 60,000 Felons, Enough To Swing Election
Daily Caller ^

Posted on 11/06/2016 10:56:36 AM PST by ameribbean expat

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has granted voting rights to as many as 60,000 convicted felons just in time for them to register to vote, nearly five times more than previously reported and enough to win the state for his long-time friend, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

McAuliffe sought to allow all of Virginia’s estimated 200,000 felons to vote, but state courts said each individual felon’s circumstances must be weighed. To get around that, McAuliffe used a mechanical autopen to rapidly sign thousands of letters, as if he had personally reviewed them, even as his office was saying the total was 13,000.

Don't felons need to be registered before being entitled to vote? Virginia has instant registration and vote?

Didn't the robopen authorization by the governor fail?

What's changed?

<< I personally know 3 guys in Va that got their rights restored...Trump voters. >>

May there be more of this. May Trump’s broad appeal reach out to these men and women and may what Hillary planned for evil, let the Lord use for good. Amen.

“Will someone vote for them? That is the question.”

The fraud penalties are fairly high. Does it happen, sure. The problem is proving it happened and who did it. Will it actually be investigated? Not in Democratically controlled districts.

Case in point...I got a felon registered to vote while out door knocking. He was a Trump supporter.

Not all ex felons are ‘rats.

For what it’s worth, I think that McAwful was right for once in his miserable existence. If someone is so dangerous that we can’t trust them to vote, then why are they out of jail in the first place?

They would have to be already registered to vote in order to vote. Were the pardons given before the registration deadline? Or did the governor arrange a special expedited registration?

There are some federal laws against ex-felons owning guns, and some states impose conditions or bans.

Are you happy now my fellow Virginans who voted for this Clinton bag man?! I had to listen to this carpetbagging hack at my daughter’s commencement last May. Almost made me ill. No legal authority in Virginia can stop this POS?

This man’s actions support my thesis that blacks are a tool for use by smarter, but corrupt or hostile, peoples.(Most of the felons are assumed black.)

The pardon only covers state elections I believe. A pardon by a governor has zero to do with federal law.

Anybody who can’t see that the Democratic Party, the Media, and the Obama Administration is corrupt from head to toe, is deliberately ignoring the facts.

See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil.

They ARE evil.

I believe federal law has an exception for state pardons, expunges and such.

The only way democrats can win is by letting criminals vote for them, bringing in millions of non-citizens and allowing them to vote for them, and by creating a new, fast-growing solid voting block, (muzzlims), and by giving them special privileges and dispensations.

Florida and Virginia policy is that felons permanently lose their voting rights and only a pardon by the government Can reinstate their right to vote.

IIRC, the court said he could not pardon a class of people; he had to pardon individuals.

I know the law means nothing to these people, bu surely, their must be ONE person who can stop this crime.
