The Wikileaks revelations over the past weeks have been so outlandish as to make a person jaded. The stuff is so off the wall that most folks would interpret it as pure fabrication. When the subject of occult practices is explored with any seriousness, it is not a sense of outrage that ensues, but a sense of disbelief, so that as if by the wave of a wand, incredulity evaporates. The practitioners of evil simply say, “There’s nothing to see here,” and the innocent carry on their merry way as if relieved.
