The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton each with 44% support among Likely U.S. Voters. Libertarian Gary Johnson gets four percent (4%) of the vote, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein is at one percent
My guess, and that was what some other Freepers also thought, is that the headline figure 45/45 is the result after the raw numbers have been processed through the specific model Rasmussen uses. The data on decided and undecided are on the other hand "raw" data.
If that's the way it is then that will tell you the direction of the weighting of this poll.
Given that IBD/TIPP day after day finds a GOP +1-2% sample (and reweights it), and according to people who have access to the Rasmussen poll the Ras is D+5%, that tallies quite well with the +7% Trump that we calculated.
Interstingly enough (and this may just be pure chance) I just read this. Note that the author does not explain how he reached his figure, so don't take it too seriously:

In Summary: We believe Americans will not vote for such a corrupt and flawed individual as Hillary Clinton. Americans want a candidate they can respect and trust – Hillary is not that candidate.
Trump will win on Tuesday. He will likely win by 7 points.
Praying here, too. I pray that it's a complete landslide so that nobody can say that he doesn't have a mandate.

And for a GOP-alanche too... not to limit what God might be able to push Democrats, kicking and screaming, into doing, but it seems that the GOP has been coalescing around Trump lately, for whatever reason matters less than that they are.
Polls are consistently oversampling Dhimmis by 5-10%.
If you've been paying any kind of attention at all, you should already be aware of that.

Yes, and I believe they are fudging their Indy #s a bit as well in order to not to have to show a D+7-8 turnout also in the last few days. They basically are hedging their bets by showing the race tied regardless. Rasmussen seems to be doing the same thing. Who knows what ABC is doing.
The only poll that matters is the Election Day results.
Also “Tie” is the easiest way to encourage more voters to come out.
I think it, too, is skewed already and will make the Trump vote bigger.
I do my own research. I just choose not to run around with a tin foil hat on.
