We used to have the same time of system you used - optical scanner. I always checked to make sure the little counter added 1 when I put my ballot in. We now have all vote by mail and I HATE it! I liked going to the polling place; and, it seems that the vote by mail lends itself to more monkey business (which we already had when Gov Fraudoire squeaked by Rossi with some “found” ballots in the Seattle area several years ago). If she wasn’t bad enough, now we have Inslee (former House Rep from WA state) - ugh!
I like Greek type salads, too. I’m not Italian or Greek (Slavic on mom’s side, English with a tad of Irish and French on dad’s), but I swear I must have some Italian in there somewhere as I LOVE pasta - could eat it almost daily!

Today is the day for what?
I was a volunteer, five of us, at the rally in Bloomington. We were in charge of screening people coming in before they went thru security. I introduced myself to some lead guy who smoked cigarettes who greeted us and gave us our volunteer badges. I think his name was John...(your typical @sshat, big man in his own mind kind of guy.)
My friend, Vanessa, who organized us, was up the night before putting together 200, yes 200 Trump signs.
I told him I was with FR. He said never heard of your site.
Anyway, I asked if I could be seated in the VIP section before Trump comes out. He said, he couldn’t guarantee that, and in fact, said “you’re here to work.”
I chose to go inside and pass out signs, which I recommend you do too. Hold a few back until the end as I will explain.
After security closed down, we found ourselves, about five of us, stuck waaaaaaaaaay in the back.
Our leader went to John and asked if we could get up front in the VIP. We were at the airport, so Trump would arrive by plane.
He said, “Sorry, you’re on your own.”
I noticed there was security guard in front of the VIP gate.
Anyway, I said, “What is the name of the Trump lead man?” Vanessa said, “It’s John Blank.”...I said, “Follow me.”
We went to security gate to the VIP with our Volunteer badges and the remaining handful of signs, and said “John Blank said we could go to the VIP section.” In we went.
WE were in the first row, when he came off the plane.

I was hoping Trump would have a Madison Square Garden rally Monday night but he'll be in NH. That's fine. I'm sure it will be very crowded in front of the Trump Tower and there will be a party atmosphere.
The cucumber and feta (and of course the kalamata olives) make a HUGE differrence!
I eat lots of past too. Like it with a tomato sauce, or a pesto sauce (Clasico brand is pretty good and pretty cheap), or in a cold salad.
My heritgae is German, so I, of course, have to turn to other nationalties for cuisine ;-) Italian and Greek food are the best in the world, to me. Thai and Mexicn are great too. I don't turn my nose up to hearty American fare either.

That’s what I have on my recipe card. Haven’t made it in a long time, but I’m fairly sure I followed the recipe.
It sounds like quite a bit, but I think once it is mixed with a bottle of dressing, the veggies and 1 lb of pasta, it may not be too much. Of course, everyone should adjust recipes to their personal tastes.
Just looked at mine - it’s 5.5 oz. It’s a little larger than a normal spice bottle size, but not a huge jar (like the garlic powder I get at Costco).

My daughter and I just made the annual trek to Arkansas yesterday, to close our cabin for the winter. Always a bittersweet day for us.
When we got to our road, every single house/property had a TRUMP sign out front! It was hard to be sad after seeing that.When we got down to our gate, I realized that our place was the only one that didn’t have one.
When Hillary is indicted, I don’t think that she should come to this part of AR to seek asylum - ha!

I’ve seen Ken’s dressings at the store but haven’t tried them and I will. A couple of the stores by me have a variety of olives that one can purchase by the pound (they’re in bins and set -up like the salad bars in stores are).
That sounds really good. Need to get groceries today or tomorrow, think I’ll buy the ingredients and make some.
I like German food, too. Unfortunately, we don’t have any German restaurants around here that I’m aware of. There was a really good one we used to go to in Denver from time to time. Did polka dancing after dinner! Probably my most favorite restaurant at Disney World was the German restaurant at Epcot - really nice buffet and good food.
I’ve been hungry lately for the chopped red cabbage mix (I forget what it’s called but it’s often served with Sauerbraten. Need to look for a recipe for that, too.
