Ryan just came around today and told everyone to come home, late but better than never. My fear is that he has made side deals to work with Hellary on porkulus and judicial appointments

I remember George Bush Sr. when he was president, braying on about “reaching across the aisle” and his “good friend Dan Rostenkowski.” I remember his desperately trying to be friends with George Mitchell. His goal was to be friends with the Dems, not advance a partisan agenda. He places being friends with the Dems above the rough and tumble of politics. Its sad that he and his son were the only two Republican presidents since Reagan.

He’s only doing this to preserve a political future.
The political careers of the other Bushes are over, so they can afford to support Hillary overtly or covertly. Jorge P. still wants to crawl his way to the Governor's mansion in Texas, which forces him to endorse Trump. His political future would be over if he was seen as a help to Hillary.
So Jorge P. isn't any smarter or more virtuous than the other members of his clan, he's just playing politics with this last-minute endorsement. It's no more sincere than Ted Cruz's endorsement.
He was talking pro Trump months ago. But good.
