In this video released by Project Veritas Action, a top Democratic donor is caught on camera disparaging members of the African American community at a fundraiser for North Carolina U.S. Senate candidate Deborah Ross. In the video, prominent Ross donor Benjamin Barber expresses his opinion about blacks who vote Republican by comparing them to Nazis.
Will Hillary and the DNC return this guy’s contributions?
My guess is that will happen when Hell freezes over.
Agree
I agree that this isn’t the “bombshell” we were hoping for. That said, it is still powerful with respect to the black vote. The more black people see how the Dems view them, the bigotry of low expectations, the more they will wake up.
If Hillary doesn’t get a “normal” turnout of black voters she may not win on that alone.
How many election cycles do people have to live through before they realize when someone has the goods. Really has the nuclear bombshell... They don’t advertise it in advance?
Followup ping.
O’Keefe strikes again!
Didn’t a video much milder of Romney supposedly cause him to lose in the final days? Something about 49%ers?
This is 1,000 times worse, the media must hide it.
WashingtonSource — is this the same video you saw? The one that also reflects badly on the DNC senate candidate?
Romney tortured his dog by strapping its cage on top of the car and driving at high speed.
The dog loved it, but hey — Romney’s a republican. Romney might be helping Hillary this year, but hey, he’s well ... he’s ... uh ...
‘I agree that this isnt the bombshell we were hoping for ...’
This is not a bombshell?
Do you live in the South?
My county is 39% black. They’re totally turned off by the DNC this year to begin with.
I’m not going to call it a Nothing Burger. What if it’s enough to keep a Republican from North Carolina in the Senate, and what if it’s enough for Trump to win the EVs of North Caroliona.
This nuclear bombshell is closer to being a mouse fart, IMO. The Democrats openly admit that they think anyone who opposes them is stupid and acts against their own self-interests. Hell, do a google search, there’s no shortage of condescending articles written by liberals more or less stating exactly that.
LOL...I know, what a waste of time. And to tease it like he does!!!
Just stop James, you’re distracting from the real scandals and probably wasting alot of money.
I was hoping for something more explosive, like Hillary using the N-word repeatedly. This doesn’t surprise me. We all know they want to continue the meme that blacks “should” vote Dem. How is this any different than one black guy calling another an “uncle Tom” for voting Republican?
I agree that the drip drip drip of low expectations and assumed vote lock-in is being recognized more and more by the black population. This helps for sure but isn’t going to be breaking-news on all media outlets.
I can’t think of a single reason Blacks would want to vote for Hillary over Trump.
Yes
I am very frustrated with the tempid conservative reaction to this.
Look, I’ve talked with black democrats for years when I worked side-by-side with them.
WE know about this double standard, but if you recall Bill Clinton was the ‘first black president’.
Hillary is fighting for her life in Michigan, and ...
This morning this scandal DOES tie to Hillary. She had taken money from the same donor and is now trying to quietly return it.
Hillary did not denounce Deborah Ross who was morally obligated to warn her fellow democrats that this donor was a racist.
This ties to the entire DNC.
I checked google — it’s all being swept under the rug [so far].
If they do it later, too late already.
